Create in me a PURE HEART, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Ps. 51:1,3,10)
While The Ministerial Seminary of America, LLC does not claim one particular religious belief to be exclusive in the understanding of "truth", it does find beauty and wisdom in the World Religion's texts. This Psalm is framed and placed at the office door entrance to The Ministerial Seminary of America, LLC. It is a constant reminder to all who enter and leave, of our reliance on Spirit. We ask God to grant us each day a pure heart and to renew our steadfastness so as to remember who we really are and what our true purpose in life is.
As an alternative approach to ordination and spirituality, it is often difficult for some to understand what our seminary stands for and what we are trying to accomplish. We find courage in the words of this Psalm and continue our attempts each day to promote love, tolerance and understanding.
Just as David cried out to God, "Create in me a pure heart, O God...to sustain me" (v10, 12) we as well seek God's intervention during our daily tasks and in our personal lives. We ask that God create in us a heart that holds no grievance, casts no judgment, manifests love and creates purity in mind, body and spirit.
